Stock check & repair

Stores can drift apart: stock changed while a store was paused, a quantity edited before the group went live, a store that was offline. Stock check & repair finds these differences and fixes them only after you have seen them.

The three steps

Run a check

Open Stock check & repair and choose the sync group.
Run Check only, then Preview repair.
On the run, choose Review differences. Each line names the product, the store and the quantities, for example “Shopify has 7, Qantory expects 12”.
If the plan is right, choose Apply safe repair and confirm.

Reading the results

Result	Meaning
Would be corrected / Corrected	The store differs and the repair sets it to the shared quantity.
Needs your review	Not safe to change automatically, for example the store or group is paused.
Update in progress	An update is already on its way; check again in a minute.
Not set up	The product or location is not linked in every store.
Store disconnected	Qantory could not read the store; reconnect it on the Stores page.

A repair never writes over a change it has not seen: if a store’s quantity moves while the repair runs, Qantory reads the new quantity instead of overwriting it, and the next check shows any difference left.
